Membership Qualifications and Dues

Active Members

Any pharmacist (currently licensed or retired) interested in the mission of the Association and who has served the profession of pharmacy for at least 25 years is eligible for Active Membership.

After completing the VAAC application form, submitting it to the Executive Secretary with payment of the prescribed dues, which is $50.00 annually, the candidate shall become and Active Member and be added to the VAAC Roster.

Active Members receive the right to hold office, to have one (1) vote, to receive VAAC notices and the QS Newsletter and to participate in all activities and functions.

The fiscal year for the Association shall be from January 1 through December 31.

 

Supporting Member

An Active Member who has left the area but wants to remain in touch with the Association and attend meetings whenever possible.

This status member can hold no office, has no vote and pays reduced dues.

A pharmacist who has left the area but has not been an Active Member may join at the Active member dues for a period of one year and then be eligible for Supporting Membership after that first year.

The prescribed dues for Supporting Members is $30.00 annually.

Supporting Members shall receive VAAC notices and the QS Newsletter and may attend any VAAC meeting or function (at the normal fee).
